Scheduled Video Consultation with the option to use the Remote Observation Solution (OMR), with the TytoCare device
The TytoCare device is a medical device that enables a video consultation through real-time medical observation by FHVC’s multidisciplinary medical team (General and Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology, among others).
Through the TytoCare device, the doctor can examine, in real time, the heart, lungs, throat, ears, skin, abdomen, heart rate, and body temperature.
Using advanced technology, carry out the examination recommended by the doctor in real time. At the end, receive a medical report and, if applicable, exam requests and medical prescriptions—all from the comfort of your home.*
*This service does not exclude, in certain cases, the need for a subsequent in-person consultation.

What is a Video Consultation?
The clinical video consultation is a consultation service provided by video, carried out by general and family medicine physicians, as well as doctors from other specialties and other health professionals, in situations that do not require an in-person examination. During the video consultation, the client can share complementary diagnostic tests and receive prescriptions from their doctor.
How to schedule your video consultation?
- You can schedule a video consultation in the following ways:
- In your FHVC Client Area, you can choose the “Atendimento Permanente 24h” option for the Permanent Video Consultation Service or “Agendar Consulta” for the Scheduled Consultation Service;
or
- Through the Customer Support Service, simply provide our assistants with the necessary information to schedule your consultation, via the numbers 210 495 836 / 965 928 746 (call to national landline / call to national mobile network) or by email at: apoio.cliente@fh-vc.pt, 24h/7 days a week.
How to conduct your video consultation?
After completing the payment for your video consultation, you will receive a confirmation email with some information on how to prepare.
Is a video consultation right for me?
If you need any additional clarification, contact the Customer Support Service through the numbers 210 495 836 / 965 928 746 (call to the national landline / call to the national mobile network).
The Permanent Video Consultation Service is recommended for addressing non-urgent acute situations that do not require an in-person examination and/or procedure. The Scheduled Consultation Video Service, on the other hand, is indicated for non-acute medical conditions, follow-up situations for health promotion, disease prevention, management of chronic diseases and respective medication, evaluation of complementary diagnostic tests, and clarification of doubts.
Is it possible to treat an emergency situation through a video consultation?
An urgent situation that requires an in-person examination or procedure is not handled through video consultation. Video consultation is suitable for assessing non-urgent acute situations, such as flu-like syndrome or mild infections.
In case of emergency, you should always contact 112.
Is video consultation secure?
Yes, the FHVC video consultation is secure. It is provided through a digital platform that ensures the privacy of shared information and the security of user data, using security tools and protocols.
It is very important that the client ensures the security of their equipment and the Internet network they use.

At FHVC, the video consultation is private and provided through a platform that follows standardized rules and security protocols to ensure the client’s privacy.
