\u208b Telephone and video consultation with audio and video of the client within the context of the Permanent Video Consultation Service (SVCP).<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
3) Purpose:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Advice and\/or triage of situations considered a priority, which can be managed without: an in-person examination, an examination being carried out at that moment, the administration of medication within a healthcare setting, or the performance of a medical procedure.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
4) When not to use<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b This service is NOT suitable in the case of:<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Urgent situations requiring an in-person physical examination, an immediate examination, the administration of medication in a healthcare setting, or the performance of a medical procedure.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Emergencies such as chest pain or tightness; weakness in one arm, a drooping mouth or difficulty speaking; changes in consciousness such as drowsiness or not responding when called; choking; heavy or uncontrollable bleeding; severe burns; or accidental injuries. In these cases, you should call 112.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Management of chronic conditions.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Requests for prescriptions for long-term medication, particularly psychiatric medication.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
– Requests for further diagnostic tests to assess your health or non-acute conditions.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

\u208b Remote clinical assessment, offering convenience and ease of access.<\/p>\n

6) Security<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b The electronic systems used incorporate security protocols to protect the confidentiality of your identity and your clinical data, and include measures that protect and ensure their integrity.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
7) Disadvantages<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b A situation that cannot be resolved via a video consultation and requires a subsequent in-person consultation;<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Technical difficulties or failures that prevent or lead to the interruption of the tele- or video consultation;<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Failure of security protocols resulting in the compromise of clinical data privacy.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u208b Security breaches attributable to the Client\u2019s device and\/or the networks through which the connection to the video consultation is established.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
8) Duration<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The duration of the consultation will be appropriate to the clinical situation, within the context of a digital health service.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
9) Medical Prescriptions<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Taking into account the medical context and the practices established by FHVC, following a consultation with the doctor, if the doctor deems it appropriate based on medical criteria and in accordance with the protocols in force at FHVC, a medical prescription may be issued.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The issue of a medical prescription is not guaranteed following the consultation. The decision to prescribe medication is made by the doctor based on their assessment.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
This service is NOT INTENDED for the issue of prescriptions for long-term medication, in particular psychiatric medication, which must be carried out by the attending doctor.<\/p>\n
